Hägglunds launches the new CA280 hydraulic motor

Hägglunds is expanding its range of compact hydraulic motors with the new CA280 – the largest model so far in the CA series. The motor is developed for demanding applications where high torque, robustness and reliability need to be combined with a compact format.

The Hägglunds CA series is based on radial piston technology and is developed for heavy industrial applications where space and weight can be limiting factors. With the CA280, the range of applications is expanded further, not least within the mining and material handling industries.

Examples of applications include raise boring rigs, apron feeders and heavy-duty belt conveyors. The CA series also offers several mounting options, through holes and strong resistance to shock loads – features that are important in demanding industrial environments.

The CA280 has been launched after an extensive period of development, testing and validation and is now ready for the mining industry and other industrial applications.

With the new size, Hägglunds continues to develop its offering in hydraulic direct drive for applications where high performance must be combined with compact design.
