The Norwegian hydraulics company Servi Group has acquired HyCom, a company specialized in service and maintenance of hydraulic systems. The deal is part of Servi’s strategy to strengthen its position in service and technical support for industry.
From December 15, 2025, HyCom becomes part of Servi Group, which with around 340 employees and eight locations is described as Norway’s largest competence environment in hydraulics.
According to HyCom’s CEO Åshild Østerbø, the acquisition is a natural next step for the company.
– Becoming part of Servi is a natural step forward for HyCom. The most important thing for us has been to secure jobs and create stability for both employees and customers, she says.
Focus on service and maintenance
Servi Group offers service and maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic and electromechanical components, as well as the development of customized system solutions. The company reported revenue of approximately NOK 970 million in 2024.
Through the acquisition, HyCom gains access to Servi’s broader organization, workshops and technical resources across Norway. At the same time, HyCom will continue operating under its own name, and customers will keep their existing contacts and agreements.
Increased capacity nationwide
The goal of the deal is to create greater capacity in service and maintenance of hydraulic systems and to improve availability for customers across Norway.
HyCom’s current CEO Åshild Østerbø will continue in her role until March 31, 2026, after which she will move into an advisory position. From April 1, 2026, Stian Mjøs, service manager at Servi’s Bergen office, will take over as the new CEO of HyCom.
As part of the integration, Servi’s employees in Bergen will move into HyCom’s facilities at Håkonshella after the New Year. The companies plan to further develop service operations, system deliveries and technical expertise together.
