Sunfab SAP 012-108 DIN Optimised axial piston pump

Sunfab has further developed its proven SAP series with the SAP 012-108 DIN Optimised, a range of single-flow axial piston pumps that combine high performance, energy-efficient operation, and low noise levels in a compact format. The pump series is designed to meet the high demands placed on modern hydraulic systems in mobile and construction machinery.

Compact Design with High Capacity

The SAP 012-108 DIN Optimised covers a displacement range from 12 to 108 cm³ per revolution, with a maximum operating pressure of 400 bar, providing broad flexibility for various applications. The pump can be mounted either directly to the power take-off (PTO) or via an intermediate shaft on a bracket, facilitating installation and integration within the machine fleet.

The optimized design provides higher speed capabilities than the standard version, making the pump suitable for electric motor drive as well as traditional drivetrains.

Operational Benefits

The optimized design offers several clear operational advantages:

  • Lower noise levels compared to the standard SAP series, improving the working environment.

  • Reduced system pulsations thanks to smoother flow.

  • Stable operation across the entire speed range, ensuring reliable performance regardless of load.

  • Long service life due to high material standards for bearings, seals, and other components.

  • Corrosion-resistant aluminum housing and reduced heat generation through improved heat dissipation.

Applications

The SAP 012-108 DIN Optimised is particularly well suited for demanding mobile hydraulics applications, where both performance and reliability are critical, such as:

  • Tank and vacuum trucks

  • Cement and concrete vehicles

  • Refuse and service vehicles

  • Hook-lift trucks

  • Road sweepers and snow plow equipment

Summary

The Sunfab SAP 012-108 DIN Optimised is a modern and compact single-flow pump that meets market demands for high efficiency, stable oil flow performance, and robust construction. With its optimized design, it offers quieter operation and high-speed capabilities, making it an attractive choice for hydraulic systems in both mobile and stationary applications.
